Sadly true. Drivers develope a sort of tunnel vision without even realizing it. Especially if they're on very familiar roads or tired. It forces bikers to be hyper vigilant just to be safe. Now how about a PSA explaining what a helmet on the ground means. Just a suggestion.

Whatever you gotta tell yourself. You’ll get in an accident splitting lanes way before someone doesn’t hit the brakes and plows into you. It’s fucking ridiculous to be on a motorcycle flying past cars stopped in traffic from like 6 inches away on both sides and then claim it’s safer that way. It’s not and you’re making traffic more complicated and dangerous for everybody while also pissing everyone around you off. If you were so worried about safety you wouldn’t be on a bike in the first place. Riders like you give the whole community a bad name and wonder why everyone hates dealing with bikers

Soldiers, sailors and marines are required to wear bright reflective clothing while riding. Being seen and looking like a dork is better than dying in cool clothes.

Congratulations for your 1500 miles ride. I'm up in Canada and we have snaller rides under 24 hours, like the 2000km that I've done twice in 2022 and the 1600 (1000miles) that I did in 2022 also. This, year, I should try the 2500km (1500 miles) but after I've done another smaller Iron Butt that I am not sure yet. One important gear to have on your bike is rain gear that can be used for rain and to keep the wind out. Many hours on your bike, in the wind will make your body temperature drop, (at least for me). ha ha ha

I just did the 1000 in 24hrs and it wasn't too bad at all. this year is the Bun Burner Gold 1500 in 24hrs and it's gonna suck lol. I would say bring some food with you like a sub sandwich or something easily accessible and while taking a break laying in the grass really helped me regain some energy. Also, I used an AirHawk aircushion and it made it a DREAM!!! Great Vid Bro *subscribed*
